The larger towns of Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth provide a traditional range of seaside fares with quayside, seafront illuminations, pier, promenades, arcades, fun fair and sandy beach. While quieter resorts such as Southwold and Alburgh provide quintessential coastal heritage with charming eateries, beach huts and craft shops galore. A short drive away are the Norfolk Broads, renowned for diverse wildlife, fishing and lazy days boating along the waterways and which are best experienced by day boat hire.
