Located in the heart of Polyphant, this property is situated in a tranquil location surrounded by countryside. The closest towns with all the amenities one could ask for is Launceston and it’s historic castle or venture further afield where the stunning beaches of both the north and south coast are within easy reach. Nearby attractions include Tintagel Castle and the rugged north Cornwall coastline along the south west coastal path. The Adrenalin Quarry, Eden Project, Siblyback Segway adventure, the hidden valley and for the cyclists, Cardinham woods are all within easy reach. Slightly further afield are the roman cathedral city of Exeter and maritime city of Plymouth. Although it is steeped in its rural past, it is also equipped with many modern comforts throughout.
From the terrace you enter through the front door into the porch then into the wonderful country kitchen with beams and decorative Rayburn. The bedrooms are all themed, “The Hive” is a king zip-and-link (which can be made into a 2ft 6 twin on request), “The Pen” a double bedroom and “The Warren” a single bedroom, all with ample storage and views onto the gorgeous garden. The bathroom has a small free-standing roll top bath with hand held shower attachment and WC.
Outside there are spacious terraces and seating areas in this loved cottage garden which is furnished with a seating bench, table and chairs so you can dine alfresco. The private garden is perfect for relaxing in and is fully enclosed so ideal for dogs. There are several borders with shrubs and of course a hot tub to lay back and unwind after a day exploring the walks from your doorstep. A parking space is on the gravelled driveway and there is further roadside parking, subject to availability.
