This pretty whitewashed cottage sits right on the water's edge and is backed by fields. It offers outstanding views over to the west and the Isle of Skye, including spectacular sunsets. It is the perfect, peaceful spot for family holidays enjoying the great outdoors, but with facilities close at hand. Local shops, including a butcher, bookstore, pub and restaurant, are just a few hundred metres away. There are numerous easy walks along the local coastline and sandy beaches, and more challenging trails in the surrounding hills.
Inside, the property has been modernised and is bright and contemporary, while still in keeping with its traditional exterior. There is a spacious open-plan dining/family room, with a wood burner at its heart to keep everyone warm, even on the coldest of days. This room has a family dining table, and a choice of sofas and armchairs. It's the perfect place to enjoy lazy lunches and pre-dinner drinks. The large kitchen leads off this room and has everything you'll need for easy holiday cooking. It is equipped with a dual fuel range cooker, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. The main living room is spacious and comfortable, with a TV, wood burner and a choice of sofas. On the first floor are two light, well-furnished bedrooms with lovely views, plus a family bathroom and an office area.
Outside, there is a small terrace with a bench overlooking the water, and a grassed area sloping down to the sea.
