The harbourside town of Brixham is a busy working port, steeped in history, with a thriving arts scene and an excellent range of independent shops and galleries. Step outside the front door and within moments, you are within easy reach of the many bars, cafes and restaurants serving an array of freshly caught seasonal fish and seafood. Explore the fascinating replica of the Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake’s ship; board a boat to discover the stunning scenery; or walk along the coastal path in search of sheltered coves with jaw-dropping views along the way.
The property is a delightful home where family and friends can enjoy a special coastal holiday together. Light and airy throughout, the tranquil nature of this property is wonderfully inviting after a day spent exploring your beautiful surroundings. Ascend a final set of stairs to reach the twin and bunk rooms, both restful spaces with plenty of storage space, decorated in an understated style with sea peeps.
For sunny tipples and morning coffees, two separate private decked terrace areas are the perfect places to unwind and soak up the sun. Take care on the shared steep stone steps leading to these lovely areas. Please note that children should be supervised when using the steps. Take in the charming views of the town, while in the comfort of the garden. There is free roadside parking available on nearby roads. Alternatively you can purchase a parking permit online from Torbay Council, to be used in the nearby Oxen Cove car park, which is 5-10 minute level walk along the harbour from the cottage.
