This first-floor property is located right on the harbour at Newlyn, a bustling fishing harbour town with a range of small shops, historic pubs, and some fine restaurants. Further afield, the town of St Ives is just ten miles away, whilst the picturesque town of Mousehole is just a ten-minute drive away, with its gift shops, galleries, eateries, and a family-friendly sandy beach. Culture lovers will want to pay a visit to unique Minack Theatre, a cliff-top, open-air venue which has a full season of productions over the spring and summer months. Land’s End is also just eight miles to the west.This bijou property may be small, but as soon as you enter it via the stairs leading from the ground floor you will be mesmerised by the view across the harbour from the large bay window. From here it is possible to look across to Penzance’s Promenade and to watch the fishing fleet return with the day’s catch. If it is possible to tire of the view, there is a wall-mounted TV and DVD which guests can watch from the comfortable futon sofa, which converts to a bed, meaning that guests can wake up to the sound of the sea. A large wardrobe divides the living area from the kitchen area with its electric induction hob, microwave/convection oven and fridge with ice compartment. There is also a dining table seating two, perfect for eating your fresh fish and chips. The property’s shower room is a cleverly designed enclosed cubicle which houses both the shower and the WC, which is accessed via the shower tray (please see photos). There is no cot provided in the apartment, but guests with a non-mobile baby are welcome to bring their own travel cot or Moses basket. This property with its unrivalled views and contemporary, clean styling is a wonderful alternative to a hotel room, affording you more privacy and more space than you would typically expect in a hotel or B&B. Parking is available in nearby public car parks.
