This cosy holiday cottage is located in an enviable position on Cardigan's River Teifi estuary. This lovely home enjoys one of the finest panoramic views in the area.
This charming property is a birdwatcher’s paradise and you can watch the heron as they fish for their supper from the front of the property. The sandy beach at Poppit Sands, with rock pools and sand dunes, is just a mile away. The slipway and pontoon, which is great for crabbing, and the start of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path are just 50 yards away. The picturesque village of St. Dogmaels holds a weekly farmers market. Riverside inns are nearby, with the nearest approximately 150 yards from the cottage. You will be within walking distance of Cardigan and a short drive from the Preselli Mountains. Local attractions include Cilgerran Castle, the Welsh Wildlife Centre and the ruins of St Dogmaels Abbey.
On entering this lovely and welcoming cottage, you will find yourself in the attractive and elegant open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The pretty and welcoming lounge is charmingly furnished, complete with TV, DVD and flame effect electric fire. You will find a pretty dining area, and the kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven, hob, fridge and microwave. There is also a separate utility room, where the washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer are housed. Going upstairs, you will find there are two cosy and spacious double bedrooms, one overlooking the garden, and the other enjoying stunning views of the river. You will also find a shower room complete with WC.
Stepping outside, you will find a charming rear garden which is accessed via a few steps leading to an enclosed lawn and a seating area complete with BBQ. To the front of the property is an attractive patio with seating where you can enjoy one of the best views of the River Teifi. There is ample off-road parking available for two cars and a boat if requested at time of booking.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
