Visible from the property are the four lighthouses of The Farne Islands, which can be visited by boat. The islands are tipped as one of the UK’s top wildlife experiences and tourists can visit the habitats of seabirds and inquisitive grey seals. Seahouses made its name as a fishing village, so enjoy a drink at The Fisherman’s Kitchen, peruse the historic memorabilia and devour the local catch of the day. Guests may also enjoy crazy golf, rock pooling, or horse-riding on the beach in this tranquil town.
This studio property is perfect for a warm and cosy getaway. As you enter you’ll see that the apartment layout adopts an open-plan design. It consists of a lounge, dining and bedroom area with remarkable sea views. This comfortable area includes a sofa with a pull-out sofa bed in addition to the master bed, which resides in a recessed corner of the room. Relax in the comfortable seating looking out over the beautiful harbour and enjoy a meal for two at the dining table. The living area also features a fireplace, wall mounted TV and has ample storage for a short break. The separate kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven, grill and hob, fridge/freezer and combination microwave and the shower room with WC caters perfectly for two guests.
Outside, guests can make the most of pleasant weather on the patio which gets the sun all day or let the fresh air flow through the cottage from the Juliet balcony, which overlooks the harbour. The cottage is reached via a shared alleyway, up eight wide concrete steps and a gate. Unallocated on-street parking is available nearby and the property has a parking permit for your use in the nearby main car park.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
This cottage offers private guest membership to use the facilities of The Ocean Club in Seahouses. This includes the 20-metre indoor swimming pool with a separate children's pool and spa/sauna area and a wide variety of equipment in the Fitness Suite. You can even book an hour with a personal trainer.
