This end of terrace, former coastguard cottage is situated in a wonderful position overlooking the sea and is a short stroll to a sheltered, sandy bay with cliffs on either side. Popular with locals and visiting families and with a large expanse of sand for ball games at low tide.
A perfect spot for walkers, the cliff-top is perfect for enjoying the many different vistas all year round. Relax on the patio and terraced garden area, all with excellent views and see the many ships and boats sailing from Plymouth Sound. Venture further afield and explore Plymouth with its Hoe and Barbican, high street shops, theatre and other leisure facilities. Torbay is popular with bathers and other attractions well worth a visit include Dartmoor with its scenery and wildlife, River Dart Country Park, Paignton Zoo, Buckfast Abbey, Crealy Devon and much more. In the evenings, relax in the property which has lovely views from most rooms. Games room: with large flatscreen TV with full 3D Sky package (includes movies and sports), Xbox, PS3, Wii and games.
The historic accommodation is approached via a long private road and is formerly two cottages made into one and accessed via a number of steps leading up to the property offering FOUR bedrooms: 1 double with sea view, feature en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. 1 further double with sea view, 1 twin with sea view and 1 bunk bedroom. All bedrooms have TV's with freeview. Shower room: with WC. Lounge: with sea views from both aspects, 3D Sky TV, DVD, Sky package and double sided woodburner that can be enjoyed in both the lounge and the kitchen/diner. Kitchen/diner: fabulous room with slate floor, Range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, Nespresso coffee machine and Durnic blender. Breakfast bar and dining area. From the kitchen area this leads you to the games room, where you can enjoy playing on the Xbox, PS3 or the WII.
Outside: enclosed garden area and large tiered gardens, with patio table and chairs and two sun loungers. There is no BBQ provided, however guests are welcome to bring their own. There is 3 parking areas. Location: beach 5 minutes walk, shop and pub 2 miles. Car hire available which can be arranged direct with the owner
