Nestled in the grounds of a beautiful former church, in the sleepy hamlet of Kyloe, just minutes from the magnificent unspoilt Northumberland coastline, with its splendid sandy beaches to explore. The medieval town of Berwick-upon-Tweed and the picture postcard seaside village of Bamburgh with its magnificent castle are close at hand. Visit the historic marketing towns of Alnwick famed for its castle used in the Harry Potter films, Wooler and Morpeth. Walkers, hikers and mountain bikers are well catered for with Glendale, Cheviot Hills and Northumberland’s National Park within easy reach. Enjoy a trip to the beautiful Holy Island of Lindisfarne, with its unique access across its tidal causeway, or catch a sea-life boat trip around the stunning Farne Islands.
Leading through the beautiful private arched tree lined pathway up to a small flight of stairs, onto the decked area, you are met with this delightful shepherds hut perfect for a luxurious romantic glamping experience. Entering the property you will find to the left the snug sleeping area with a king-size bed and wall mounted Smart TV/DVD and radio/iPod dock, perfect for listing to music, and plenty of storage space. There is a dining table with seating and a wood burner perfect for cosy nights in and oil fired plug in heater at hand too. The kitchen area is well-equipped with electric double hob, fridge with ice compartment, microwave and sink. Next, through the door you will find the shower room with shower and WC.
Venturing outside is the private decked area with seating wher you can enjoy magnificent countryside and sea views across to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. This is a perfect area for alfresco dining with charcoal BBQ provided, or perhaps enjoy a nice glass of wine or a good local ale. Located next to the hut is a very handy unique boot room made out of the original churches pulpit, perfect for outdoor clothing storage. There is also a covered secure bike storage next to the property and log store. Ample off-road parking is available for this property.
