Attractive cottage two miles from the sheltered, sandy beach at Portreath, with its access to the Coast to Coast walking trail.
This pretty cottage is located within a small group of similar cottages in a hillside location in the Cornish countryside, just 2 miles from the sandy beach and village amenities at Portreath, which include shops and cafe-bars. This is a popular location for surfers, though the beach is just as good for swimmers and those who enjoy relaxing and playing in the sand. Further afield, the popular towns of Newquay and St Ives are both approximately a 30-minute drive away, with each offering a very distinct seaside experience. Newquay is known for its surf schools and bars, as well as being the location for Rick Stein’s fish and chip restaurant, whilst St Ives offers a slightly calmer experience with its independent shops, harbour, and Tate Gallery. This property is the perfect place for a relaxed holiday and offers accommodation for six guests based on a single storey. The property’s open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is spacious and homely with comfortable seating, a TV/DVD. The dining table seats six whilst the kitchen has everything you would expect including electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and washing machine. Doors lead from the living space to the outside area and hot tub. The property has three bedrooms: the first has a double bed with en-suite shower and WC. There is a second double room and a finally, a king-size which has zip-and-link beds which can be made up as a twin room on request. The main bathroom has a bath as well as a separate shower cubicle and WC. Outside the property has a seating area with spectacular views across the countryside, and a BBQ. Next to the seating area is your own private hot tub, which makes a lovely place to relax whatever the weather. There is off-road parking for two cars. Guests can use the shared onsite facilities including the children’s play area, and bike hire.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
