Berwick is perfectly located for easy access to a host of nearby sights including Bamburgh Castle with sandy beaches. Alnwick Gardens and Castle famed in recent times for the Harry Potter films is also within easy reach. Enjoy a trip to Holy Island of Lindisfarne, with its unique access across its tidal causeway, or catch a sea-life boat trip around the Farne Islands. Cheviot Hills and Northumberland’s National Park are close at hand, perfect for ramblers to explore and fishermen will be delighted with the River Tweed, renowned for its excellent salmon and trout fishing. Golfers can enjoy an array of local courses within easy reach.
Entering this charming, period cottage directly from the historical Quay Walls, into the hall, the ideal place to store outdoor clothing, after a day out exploring the local area. Go through to the spacious open-plan kitchen/diner, the kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven with gas hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. The lovely dining area is perfect to enjoy a romantic meal or family gathering, with lovely views over the Tweed estuary. Next is the stylish lounge with views over the town and Smart TV, a great place to relax and to catch up with your favourite TV program or watch a movie. Through the hallway you will find the snug with desk and a selection of board games, followed by the master bedroom with king-size bed and the delightful twin. Completing the accommodation is the stylish and spacious, contemporary bathroom, with shower over bath and WC. Also located in the bathroom is the utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Venturing outside directly on the Quay Walls, there is free long stay parking and short stay disc parking available within walking distance from the property. Discs will be provided in the cottage for free parking.
