Within easy driving distance are the famous Quantock Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty popular with walkers and nature-lovers. A little further afield you can explore the spectacular Exmoor National Park. You could visit popular seaside towns including Brean and Burnham-on-Sea, famous for their excellent sandy beaches. Among the many attractions nearby are Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Glastonbury Tor, Somerwest World and the Clarks Village shopping outlet. You could also visit some of the popular towns and cities nearby including Glastonbury, Wells, Bridgwater and Weston-Super-Mare. You are also welcome to visit the farm and help feed the chickens, collect the eggs, meet the owners’ pets, see the animals in the pets’ corner or visit the guinea pig village. Lambing season takes place in February and March, so in the spring season you can also help with the orphan lambs.
