A beautiful country home set within a traditional village in the heart of the Forest of Dean, a perfect base for family or friends to explore whatever the time of year.
You will be well served by foot within the village of Whitecroft with two local village inns and a village store, perfect for morning papers and a fresh loaf of bread. For walkers wanting to leave the car behind, from the doorstep you can wander for miles along the forest tracks enjoying the rich forest and wildlife. The vintage steam railway is a stones throw and during the summer and autumn you can watch it chug past with all the nostalgia the sight of a steam train brings. For the historians, why not step back into forest history at The Dean Heritage Centre, the Hopewell Colliery and Clearwell Caves; and for family fun, why not visit Perrygrove Railways, Puzzlewood and Go Ape! If you find time to explore a little further afield, Symonds Yat is great for rock climbing, river walks, kayaking and caving.

The dining and conservatory area has plenty of seating and overlooks the sunken terrace and the forest beyond. Tucked away at the back of the property lies a den with deep sofas - cushions, beanbags and blankets, the perfect place for the kids to snuggle down and watch some TV. Heading up to the second floor you'll find the final three bedrooms, two doubles, one with an en-suite shower and WC and one with an en-suite bathroom with roll top bath, shower attachment and WC, lastly is the master bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite shower and WC.
Step outside to enjoy the enclosed garden with an open aspect onto the countryside. The garden has a sunken terrace area with table and chairs for summer dining. There is off-road parking for three cars and bike storage. The River Lyd gently flows past the bottom of the garden.
