There are many local attractions in the area such as Quince Honey Farm, Dartington Crystal, Rosemoor Gardens, The Big Sheep, Exmoor Steam Railway and Cobbatton Combat Museum. The antiques centre of South Molton is 4 miles, and Barnstaple's pannier market and sports facilities are 10 miles. The countryside around the farm is criss-crossed with footpaths and cycle-ways and has local access to the pretty Tarka Trail a short drive away, once a single track railway which offers wonderful circular walks.
