Perfectly placed with a walking path on the doorstep, there is much to see and do nearby with the stunning cathedral city of Exeter being just a short 12 mile drive away and offering a variety of shops, restaurants and amenities or why not sit on the quay and enjoy the ducks and kayaks pass you by. Closer to home, the town of Tiverton boasts a pretty canal and from here you can hire a barge for the day. Walkers will also be in their element with the Blackdown Hills an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Exmoor National Park all within easy reach. Entertain the younger ones with a visit to Crealy Theme Park near Exeter or why not take a trip to Exmoor Zoo. Wimbleball Lake is 21 miles and is a great day out for the family, it offers water sports, fishing, bird watching and nature trails. Other attractions within easy reach of the property include the expansive beach at Minehead and the medieval village of Dunster with its ancient castle.There are also a number of National Trust Properties in the area including the Killerton and Knightshayes.
