For something more relaxing, the village of Bigbury-on-Sea is 9 miles south of the property and has a stunning sandy beach, with access to Burgh Island at low tide. Other nearby attractions and places of interest in the area include the historic naval city of Plymouth, Woodlands Adventure Park, Paignton Zoo, Dartmoor National Park, Dartmouth Steam Railway, Torre Abbey and numerous National Trust properties (all within 22 miles).
