This single-storey cottage is one of two properties in the grounds of the owner’s beautiful thatched home and has been converted and styled in a fresh and contemporary way.
Situated in the centre of Devon, yet a short drive away, are Dartmoor and Exmoor, with Lynton and Lynmouth to the north, Exmouth and Sidmouth to the south and lovely beaches of Bude and Widemouth to the west. There is peace and tranquillity or plenty to do for those who wish it, with RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Dartington Crystal and several National Trust properties being just a few of the attractions close by, or visit Tavistock, Tiverton and Exeter. There is a choice of pubs and restaurants offering a variety of delicious meals in the surrounding areas. Cyclists and walkers are both well catered for in the area, with the Tarka Trail within easy reach and for those interested in fishing, there is a fishery nearby.
Stepping into the cottage, you are greeted with an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, stylishly furnished and extremely well-equipped with a comfy sofa, armchair, TV/DVD and a breakfast bar making mealtimes a breeze. The kitchen area is well-kitted out and has an electric oven and hob, toaster, microwave and fridge. When you are ready for a good night’s sleep, head to the bedroom with its double bed. The bathroom completes the accommodation and has a shower, a hand basin and a WC. Upon request, there is use of a washer/tumble dryer.
Stepping outside, there is an enclosed courtyard area with garden furniture, ideal for al fresco dining. There is also access to a shared lawn. There is ample off-road parking for up to two cars.
