Harpley is a quiet village with a country pub and children's play park (both under 0.25 miles of the property) and many country walks including the Peddars Way. Sandringham and the Queen’s estate is just up the road and Houghton Hall can be found in the neighbouring village (3 miles). The coast is a short drive away, so why not visit stunning Wells-next-the-Sea, Brancaster and Holkham beaches or see the seals at Blakeney Point? Nearby historic attractions include Castle Acre, Castle Rising and the Mid-Norfolk steam railway. The city of Norwich and the Norfolk Broads both offer a wonderful day out and are within an hour’s drive.
As you enter this newly renovated house you arrive in the hallway where you can kick off those walking boots before heading through to the open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. The well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar provides a real home away from home feel with its electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. A freezer and washing machine can be found in the utility room just off the kitchen. The dining room has seating for up to six guests to enjoy lazy lunches and family dinners, with French doors leading out to the garden. Heading outside to the back of the house, there is an enclosed garden with a dining area, garden furniture and BBQ so you can catch the evening sun and enjoy some al fresco dining whilst you watch the resident red kites fly overhead. The property also benefits from a front garden with uninterrupted views over the field and the old mill. There is gated off-road parking for two cars. There is also an outside tap to wash off muddy paws.
