The Strath Oykel is a wide green and fertile valley dominating the landscape in this wild but very beautiful part of the Northern Highlands.

The property also sits in the heart of the NC500 route.

The River Oykel known for salmon fishing rises in the mountains near Ullapool on the west and drains into the North Sea via the Kyle of Sutherland on the east and is situated just a stone's throw from the property.

Day trips to the likes of Ullapool Gairloch and Achiltibuie on the West Coast are certainly possible where you will find plentiful white sandy beaches.
