Maryport is just a short drive away with some fantastic local amenities which include the Aquarium and The Wave Centre which has a clip and climb indoor climbing facility and Maryport is also home to a Maritime Museum and Senhouse Roman Museum. Walkers have easy access to the Coastal Path to enjoy the unspoilt Solway Coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and home to many species of wading birds making this area a popular destination for bird watchers. The bustling market town of Cockermouth is also a short drive away where you will find Wordsworth House and Gardens.
As you enter the barn, you will step into the stunning, bespoke kitchen which offers a great social space to cook while chatting to family and friends in the lounge which opens through from the kitchen. This country-style kitchen is well equipped with an electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Entering the spacious lounge which floods with light through the Velux roof windows is the perfect space to kick back and relax after a day out. There is a TV, DVD player and comfortable seating along with a formal dining area to catch up over dinner or breakfast. Head back into the hallway and down the corridor where you will find two family bedrooms, both have a king-size-bed and a single bed and one of them has an en-suite with a shower and WC.
