Wells is awash with stunning architecture, the finest of which can be seen in the cathedral and adjoining moated Bishop’s Palace and gardens. There is an array of boutique shops, delis, cafes, pubs, restaurants and an excellent open market held on Wednesday and Saturday. Close by is Wookey Hole Caves, Glastonbury, Cheddar and Street (famous for the Clarks outlet shopping village, a mecca for bargain hunters and shopaholics). Slightly further afield is the historic city of Bath with its Roman and Georgian architecture, Longleat House and Safari Park, Stourhead House & Gardens, Tyntesfield House, the East/West Somerset Steam Railway and many more attractions.

Kitchen/diner: with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, coffee machine and washing machine. Outside: small enclosed courtyard area with garden furniture and BBQ. Amenities: off-road parking for 1 car and roadside parking nearby. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking. 1 small dog welcome. Location: beach 18 miles, shops and pubs within walking distance. Arrival: 3pm.
Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
