Situated on the River Torridge, the popular sandy beach at Instow is on your doorstep. There’s a selection of pubs and restaurants to enjoy. You can join The Tarka Trail, which is perfect for walkers and cyclists, and offers some lovely riverside views. Venturing further afield you can explore North Devon’s many attractions, including a range of surfing beaches, Tapeley Park, The Big Sheep, The Milky Way Adventure Park and the many National Trust properties in the area such as Arlington Court. You could board the MS Oldenburg for a day trip to Lundy Island, visit the picturesque town of Ilfracombe or simply relax in the evenings and enjoy village hospitality in the local pub.

Stepping outside, you can fire up the gas BBQ and relax at the end of an enjoyable day in the privacy of the enclosed and furnished patio area. Restricted roadside parking is available, or you can use the pay-and-display car park nearby.
