Located on the edge of the pretty village of Ottinge, in the beautiful Kent countryside this pretty thatched cottage is ideal for families and couples looking for a relaxing family getaway. The nearby village of Lyminge offers a local, shop, pub and restaurants -perfect for when you don’t feel like cooking and keen walkers will enjoy exploring the many local footpaths. The City of Canterbury with its world-famous Cathedral makes for a great day out with a wide range of places to eat and drink as well as some fantastic shopping. Families can enjoy a relaxing day at the coast on Hythe beach soaking up the sunshine, or for keen explorers take a trip to Dover Castle and learn about why it’s known as the ‘Key To England.
Enter this beautifully renovated barn into the open -plan family living area with its wonderful oak beams and many traditional features. Relax in the light and airy lounge which offers the ideal place to relax after a long walk or a trip to the seaside, on the comfy sofas and armchairs. Turned stairs from the lounge lead up to the first floor where there are three bedrooms: a double, a twin and a single with an additional trundle bed that can be made up on request. The property is complete with a family bathroom with bath and WC, and a downstairs shower room with walk-in shower and WC.
