Set within a private complex of 22 cottages which enjoy excellent local amenities, enviable countryside views with the sand dunes and beach just a short walk away. The surrounding Northumberland Coast is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offering endless activities for all ages, whether you’re looking to try new water sports, explore historic castles and towns, or are setting out on a popular walking or cycling trail. Enjoy a meal in the two friendly village pub/restaurants, one even has its own microbrewery. Visit the nature reserve and head further afield to Seahouses for a boat trip to the Farne Islands.
A spacious, open-plan living area decorated in neutral shades, creates a homely and welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy, while high ceilings and exposed beams add to the sense of space. The kitchen is well-equipped with all you need to cook a delicious meal, including an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Extra space is created with addition of the attractive kitchen island. The dining table provides a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy a meal together, before everyone curls up on the comfortable sofas in the lounge area. There is a TV/DVD as well as a CD player and Radio to keep everyone entertained. The three bedrooms are all stylishly designed with co-ordinated throws for a little extra warmth when needed. The master bedroom, a double, has an en-suite shower room with WC, while there is a further double room and a twin. All the bedrooms have plenty of storage space with wardrobes and drawers. The main bathroom has a bath with a separate shower and WC.
A door from the lounge leads you outside onto a private, raised decked area with outdoor dining furniture, perfect for alfresco drinks or dinner. If the little ones need a little extra entertainment, then they’ll love the outdoor, enclosed play area with swings, slide and climbing frame, which is shared with other guests. Meanwhile, if everyone’s up for a challenge then head to the on-site games room, available for all guests to use, for a game of table football or pool and there are a couple of sofas, separate WC and a Smart TV with Sky Sports package, so you can watch your favourite sporting event if you need to. Off-road parking for two cars next to the cottage with ample parking available on-site.
