Havelet Beach is situated just a 5-minute walk from the centre of St Peter Port, making it an ideal location for a lunchtime stroll or some sunbathing. The beach offers picturesque views of Castle Cornet and Cornet Rock.
The beach features three tidal swimming pools located at the far end of the bay, including the well-known and much-photographed Horseshoe Pool. These pools provide a safe and enjoyable swimming experience, regardless of the sea conditions.
It is worth noting that Havelet Beach is not accessible at high tide, as the sea completely submerges the beach. Visitors should be aware that as the tide comes in, the sea advances all the way up to the sea wall.
