Plemont Beach, situated on the north-west coast of Jersey, is a popular destination known for its fascinating caves and pleasing expanse of sand. .
Plemont Beach is a secluded cove on the northern shore of Jersey, characterised by a network of caves that can be explored by visitors. The beach itself is a good, sandy spot with some large rocks, sheltered from the wind and offering delightful views of the rocky cliffs and the deep blue sea. The beach is an excellent location for sunbathing, and there are plenty of rock pools for children to discover and play in.
The sea is generally safe for swimming, but it can become difficult in choppy conditions, at which times it is only suitable for strong swimmers. Visitors can access the beach via a small car park above the beach with a long descent via steps, or a larger car park at the top of the cliff with a longer walk down. Toilets and a café are also available near the beach.
For those looking for alternative activities, the nearby Greve de Lecq beach is a great spot for a day out. The Prince of Wales, a family-run guest house, overlooks the beach and offers a place to eat after a day on the sand.
