Lusty Glaze Beach is a privately owned beach and resort situated in Newquay Bay on the north coast of Cornwall. The cove is approximately 220 metres wide and is backed by cliffs and the town of Newquay. The beach is sheltered by dramatic 200ft cliffs and features beautiful golden sands.
The beach is home to The Adventure Centre, where visitors can experience a range of activities or simply relax. Lusty Glaze is a popular spot for swimming, surfing, and sunbathing. The beach is surrounded by steep steps leading down from the cliffs, giving it a charming but secluded feel. In the summer, the beach is popular with families and hosts a range of activities, including a few beach huts and a beach front restaurant.
Lusty Glaze Beach hosts a wide range of music and sporting events throughout the year, including summer events and weddings. The beach is dog friendly between 1 October and 30 April, but there are restrictions in place during the summer months. For surfers, Lusty Glaze beach is slightly sheltered and perfect for beginners.
Visitors to Lusty Glaze Beach can stay at the Kallacliff Hotel, which overlooks the beach.
Newquay Lusty Glaze Beach is adjacent to the South West Coast Path.
