Part of 3 miles of golden sands, with rocky areas and little cut off coves at high tide.

Backed by unstable shale cliffs with a footpath carved into the cliff face providing limited access. The beach forms part of the other Towans beaches: Gwithian, Upton and Mexico Towans.
