Praa Sands East Beach is approximately one mile long and features a mix of sandy and rocky patches. The eastern end of the beach is characterised by a higher concentration of rocks and pools, which are particularly visible at low tide. In contrast, the western end has fewer rocks, making it a more suitable area for swimming and sunbathing.
The beach is situated on the south coast of Cornwall and is approximately 1.3 kilometres wide. It is backed by sand dunes, adding to its natural beauty.
Visitors to Praa Sands East Beach may also be interested in exploring the nearby Gurnards Head area, which features a dramatic coastline with the ruins of the Gurnards Head Mine.
