Hares About Town is a public exhibition of 30 large Hare Sculpture and 50 smaller Leveret Sculptures situated around central Southend from 1st July to 12th September 2021.
The Hare and Leveret Sculptures are organised into two public Sculpture Trails with trail maps and a dedicated App available to the public for a small donation.
Each sculpture is individually designed by an artist and sponsored by a business, with many of the Sculptures being auctioned for local charity Havens Hospices on 28th September.
I photographed the Hare Sculptures on 2nd and 3rd July and I believe I was the first person to 'collect' all 30 Hare Sculptures using the Hares About Town App.
