Lovely roadside cottage providing an excellent base for exploring the coastal and rural beauty of Pembrokeshire. Lots to see and do, with beaches, castles, guest attractions and resorts a short drive.
Set on the road in to historic Pembroke, two miles, with its imposing Norman castle, the birth place of Henry Tudor, and a good selection of independent shops and restaurants. Country inns at nearby Cosheston and Carew, with its own castle and idyllic walk around the mill pond. A host of simply stunning beaches within easy reach, such as Freshwater East just three miles away and Broad Haven South a few minutes further by car, with lily ponds, tea room and beautiful beach for bathing. Many nearby visitor attractions, with Oakwood and Blue Lagoon less than nine miles and Folly Farm and Heatherton to be enjoyed with a day out to the seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot.
Enter into the characterful lounge with TV, DVD, exposed beams and a warming wood burner, perfect for a cosy evening. This room opens into a formal dining room with ample space for enjoyable dining. Along the ground floor hallway, passing a handy utility room with washing machine, a shower room with shower and WC and through to the large kitchen/diner. This impressive room has a Range gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. There is a large table for breakfast and informal dining, looking out over the pretty garden. Up the stairs there are three bedrooms, a large double with rural views, a further double and a bunk bedroom with an additional single bed. Along the landing there is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC.
Externally there are large rear gardens, with enclosed patio, lawn and ample garden furniture. There is off-road parking for four cars.
Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
