This property enjoys a quiet countryside location on a former working farm, dating back to the 18th Century and set within 3 acres of meadows and gardens at the foot of the Sterridge Valley, thus offering a brilliant base to explore the many delights of North Devon. The village of Berrynarbor is a short walk away with a popular pub serving food and a local shop. The seaside village of Combe Martin, with its picturesque beach, selection of pubs, and eateries is a short drive away and Ilfracombe a little further with its beaches, pubs and restaurants, or take a stroll along the harbour with a variety of boat trips on offer.
Step through the front door into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, the lounge area is the perfect place to relax after a busy day, catch up with the latest news on the TV or just sit and read a good book in front of the wood burner effect electric fire on those chillier nights. A door leads from the lounge area on to the sun terrace. The dining area has a table and chairs set for four people for all to enjoy a good meal together and discuss the next day’s plans. The kitchen is equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Stairs lead down from the lounge area to the lower ground floor into an inner hall with doors leading off to the two bedrooms, a double and a twin, and the bathroom with shower over bath and WC.
Stepping outside, enjoy the warmer evenings on the sun terrace with garden furniture and countryside views. There is a shared utility room outside housing a washing machine and tumble dryer. The shared covered games area is for all to enjoy with table tennis and darts, there is also a range of outdoor games available including croquet, children’s tennis/badminton and boules. The large paddock is ideal for ball games, picnics, BBQ’s and exercising the dogs and there is a play area for younger children. The two Shetland ponies called Robyn and Biscuit live in part of the meadow.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
