A network of tunnels, hand-carved in the early nineteenth century, leads to sheltered sand and shingle beaches and a Victorian tidal swimming pool. The only access to the beaches is via the tunnels, for which an entrance fee is charged.
Ilfracombe Tunnels Beach is adjacent to the South West Coast Path.
