Goodwick Parrog

Uploader's Comments

Parrog is an English word, similar to "paddock". In Welsh places trading with England it acquired the meaning "flat place for unloading ships". In addition to Newport (Pembs), other places with Parrogs are Newgale, Saundersfoot and Swansea. All have storm beaches such as this.
