Great Yarmouth Pier Beach is a popular seaside resort on the east coast of Norfolk, offering a lively and traditional British beach experience with a wide range of entertainments and activities.

Great Yarmouth is a large and busy resort with a wide sandy beach between the two piers, Britannia Pier and Wellington Pier. The beach is backed by a promenade with amusements and has the town behind. The beach itself is a vast expanse of excellent quality sand, with a lifeguard service operating during the summer months.

The beach offers excellent water quality and clean, golden sands, making it a popular destination for those fancying a dip in the North Sea or for families with young children who will enjoy playing with bucket and spades.

In summer, a wide variety of entertainments are organised on the beach, including boat trips, football and volleyball matches, and more. The nostalgic Britannia Pier gets very lively, with a performing arts theatre and a wide variety of arcades, rides, and other entertainments on offer. The Pleasure Beach, which opens for the season towards the end of March, has an original 1932 roller-coaster together with traditional rides for young visitors as well as white-knuckle rides for older thrill-seekers.

The Pleasure Beach attracts over a million visitors annually. Great Yarmouth Central Beach, also known as 'The Golden Mile', is an award-winning, sandy beach that attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. The promenade runs alongside the sea front, and is packed with activities and entertainment for kids. The beach is dog friendly, with restrictions in the summer months between Britannia Pier and Wellington Pier.

Both Britannia Pier and Wellington Pier are well worth a visit, with the originals built in the mid-19th century but since replaced and modernised. There are many cafes and restaurants lining the seafront, offering a range of dining options for visitors.
