Ballygalley Beach is a large north-facing bay located on the east coast of Northern Ireland, offering a picturesque setting with a small sandy beach backed by the charming town of Ballygalley. .

Ballygalley Beach is a fairly small, sandy beach that is popular with both locals and tourists. The beach is used for various activities, including paddling during the summer months and fishing during the rest of the year.

The beach has a small stream running into the sea at its western end, which makes the beach rockier and a great spot for young explorers to search for marine wildlife in the rock pools. The village centre has a car park across the road from the beach, as well as public toilets and a large children's playground located across Croft Road. The beach can be accessed via a long ramp, and additional parking is available along Coast Road to the east of the beach.

The Scottish baronial-style turrets of Ballygally Castle Hotel tower over the beach, which is the oldest occupied building in Ireland and supposedly a haunted castle. The area is also known for its connection to the popular TV series 'Game of Thrones', with some scenes filmed around this part of the County Antrim coast.

Dogs must be kept on a lead on the beach between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm from the beginning of June until the end of August, plus all public holidays, and any other times when the beach is busy. Dog bins are provided for owners.
