Lepe Beach is part of Lepe Country Park and is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The beach itself is a mixture of sand and shingle, sloping down to a sandy area that extends out for some distance at low tide. The beach faces south and offers beautiful views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight.
The beach and surrounding country park offer a range of activities and features, including excellent coastal walks featuring pine-fringed cliffs, D-day remains, and wild flower meadows. The main swimming area is located a short walk east of the car park. Watersports enthusiasts and walkers are drawn to this beautiful part of the Hampshire coast. On hot days, the beach attracts sunbathers, and visitors can walk down the beach, which tends to be quieter, or take some of the nearby trails.
Facilities at Lepe Beach include pay and display parking right on the beach front, next to a cafe, off Lepe road. Dogs are allowed to enjoy the country park but are restricted from the beach during the summer holidays, from April until the end of September.
