Morecambe Clock Tower Beach, located in the charming resort town of Morecambe, offers a delightful seaside experience with its sandy beach, scenic promenade, and various attractions.

In the early and mid 20th century, Morecambe was a thriving resort town, and although it is quieter today, it still retains its charm. Visitors can stroll along the seafront, exploring arcades, shops, fish and chip shops, and ice cream parlours. The promenade features art installations, games, and puzzles for children to enjoy.

The beach itself is mainly sandy and can be popular with beachgoers in the summer months. However, there is no lifeguard cover, and visitors must be aware of the dangers in the area, including incredibly fast tides, quicksand, and other hazards that make it risky to stray far out into the bay. Dogs are banned from the beach from May 1st to September 30th, but they are allowed on the promenade, provided they are kept on leads.

Morecambe North beach is a sand and shingle beach that forms part of the scenic Morecambe Bay in Lancashire. The town is famous for being the birthplace of Eric Morecambe and is a traditional seaside town on the North West Coast. The beach offers attractions for the whole family, including amusements for children and promenade attractions.

Visitors can walk along the promenade and take a photo with the Eric Morecambe Statue. On fine days, they can explore the bay and take guided walks across the sands. Morecambe North Beach is ideal for watersports, including kite surfing and wind surfing. The area is also renowned for birdwatching, and the award-winning Tern Project features sculptures situated along the sea front.

For weekend visitors, there are guesthouses along the promenade and the Midlands Hotel nearby. The town offers a range of entertainments, amusements, and traditional seaside treats like fish and chips and ice-creams.

Morecambe Clock Tower Beach is adjacent to the Lancashire Coastal Way.
