North Berwick's Milsey Bay is a popular family beach located on the eastern coast of Scotland, offering a range of activities and stunning views.

Milsey Bay is an expansive sandy beach situated at the eastern end of North Berwick, boasting splendid views of the Bass Rock and the Firth of Forth across to Fife. The beach is a popular destination for families, with a boat pond built into the rocks providing a safe place for children to sail boats and paddle.

The beach offers a variety of activities, including swimming, walking, exploring rock pools, sunbathing, and family days out. A pool has been created in the rocks at the western end of the beach, where children can enjoy paddling and sailing boats. Visitors can also take boat trips out to the seabird sanctuary on Bass Rock, which is visible from the beach.

During the summer, toilets are available on site. Parking spaces, including disabled spaces with access to the beach, can be found along Melbourne Road at the western end of the beach and in another car park at the eastern end of the beach along Tantallon Terrace. The picturesque North Berwick Harbour is located nearby, separating Milsey Bay from West Bay. The Scottish Seabird Centre, which provides information about the local wildlife, is situated next to the harbour.

The town centre of North Berwick offers a range of shops, restaurants, pubs, and places to stay. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy the Glen Golf Club, located at the end of Milsey Bay Beach. For those using public transport, an hourly train to and from Edinburgh runs throughout the day from North Berwick Station, which is approximately a kilometre from the beach.
