Avoch Beach is a small sand and shingle bay located on the Moray Firth, backed by the conservation village of Avoch. .

Avoch Beach is situated on the Black Isle, on the north bank of the Moray Firth, approximately a 15-minute drive from Inverness. The beach is a small sand and shingle bay, with a small harbour built in 1815, next to which are public toilets. The beach stretches west of the harbour and is backed by a sea wall and the traditional stone and whitewashed houses of the village.

The Moray Firth is home to a colony of bottlenose dolphins, and the area offers good birdlife, as well as the possibility of spotting seals. Dolphin watching boat trips depart from the harbour, offering visitors the opportunity to see these marine mammals up close.

The village of Avoch has a number of facilities, including accommodation, a co-operative store, and a fish and chip restaurant. The village is steeped in history, with nearby Ormond Hill headland being the site of 12th-century Ormond Castle, the stronghold of Andrew de Moray, who fought alongside William Wallace against the armies of Edward Longshanks.

The beach can be accessed via stone steps leading down to the shore from the road that runs along the back of the beach, which has limited parking. The area offers some pleasant walks, including a trip along the disused railway line between Avoch and Fortrose.
