Nairn East Beach, also known as Nairn Central beach or Tramore Strand, is a popular sandy beach located in the resort town of Nairn, offering beautiful views and a range of activities for visitors.

Nairn East Beach is a sandy, accessible beach fringed by dunes, with stunning views across the Moray Firth to the Black Isles. The coastline is home to a resident school of dolphins, which can often be spotted from the beach. The beach is a popular destination for families, with a paddling pool, tea rooms, and a summer activity programme.

The beach has a marina which opens onto the River Nairn, allowing boats to access the sea. A bar and restaurant can be found next to the marina, and a bridge crosses the river onto a wide expanse of clean sand, backed by a holiday village. Even when the tide is in, a strip of sand remains here. Visitors can enjoy a range of activities, including walking along the beach and exploring the surrounding area.

There are plenty of popular walks in the area, including heading east towards Kingsteps and Culbin Forest, and heading west at low tide to walk to Whiteness Point, a long spit of sand which is home to a population of seals. The former fishing town of Nairn boasts two golf courses, a museum, a promenade, and plenty of shops, pubs, and places to eat.

The beach at Nairn East extends north from the rocky shore at Nairn village out towards the island of Inishkeel, and then continues north-east to Carrickfadda. The beach is situated at the mouth of the Moray Firth, close to the resort town of Nairn.
