Cromarty Beach is a scenic destination situated on the Black Isle, at the mouth of the Firth of Cromarty, offering a range of attractions and activities for visitors. .

Cromarty is a historic town with a well-preserved 18th-century architecture, featuring beautifully restored buildings, an award-winning museum, and a variety of shops and eateries. The town has a working harbour, from which boat trips operate during the summer months, and a whitewashed lighthouse, built in 1846 and decommissioned in 2006.

Cromarty Beach is a mixture of sand and shingle, located at the mouth of the Firth of Cromarty. The beach offers limited parking along the seafront and a public footpath runs east towards some cliffs, which are a Special Site of Scientific Interest due to their geological significance. The cliffs are where the 19th-century geologist, Hugh Miller, discovered a collection of rare fossil fish, some of which are now on display at the local museum.

The surrounding area is popular with salmon fishers, sea anglers, and walkers, who can enjoy the scenic views and spot a variety of birdlife, including red kite, swallows, and occasionally, bottlenose dolphins.
