Saundersfoot Glen Beach is a small, sandy beach that connects with Saundersfoot Beach at low tide. The beach is backed by low cliffs and dense woodland, and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path passes through the trees just behind the beach. From the beach, there are views out over Saundersfoot Bay and down the coast to Monkstone Point.
The beach faces east and gets good morning sunshine, but is often in complete shade later in the afternoon. At low tide, the beach connects with Saundersfoot Beach, and there are rockpools to explore for wildlife. It is best to check tidal tables before a visit as the beach can become almost entirely submerged at high tide.
A car park, a small supermarket, and a choice of places to eat can be found close to Saundersfoot Harbour. There are further amenities to be found in Tenby, a short drive down the coast.
Saundersfoot Beach, located nearby, boasts a stunning stretch of golden sand that is perfect for soaking up the sun or taking a leisurely stroll. The beach is ideal for swimming and paddling, and there are plenty of rock pools to explore, making it an excellent destination for children. For those who love water sports, there are plenty of opportunities for kayaking, paddleboarding, and even surfing. The beach has a fantastic selection of cafes, restaurants, and bars, serving up delicious meals and refreshing drinks.
