Newhaven Central Beach, located in East Sussex, is a quiet and lengthy beach offering great views of the surrounding coastline. .

Newhaven Central Beach is a long, sandy beach situated at the mouth of the River Ouse, near the Newhaven Fort. The beach is backed by Castle Hill, a reserve managed by the Lewes District Council. Although the beach itself is not accessible to the public due to harbour restrictions, the nearby Hope Inn gastropub and Newhaven Fort offer excellent views of the beach and coastline. The Newhaven Fort, a 19th-century Palmerston Fort, has been restored as a museum and features displays and exhibitions throughout the year.

To the west of Newhaven Harbour lies Newhaven West Quay Beach, an unspoilt pebble beach backed by cliffs. This beach is dog-friendly all year round and provides a peaceful escape from the crowds. Visitors can explore the nearby Newhaven Fort, which features tunnels leading down to the beach, and take a day trip to France from the harbour, which offers a ferry service to Dieppe.

Facilities such as a railway station and ferry terminal can be found in the centre of Newhaven. The ferry terminal operates a service to Dieppe in France. Although public access to Newhaven Central Beach is prohibited, visitors can still enjoy the views from Newhaven Fort and the Hope Inn.
