Normans Bay is a quiet and remote beach located on the Sussex Coast between Eastbourne and Hastings in East Sussex, offering a unique combination of pebbles, shingle, and sand. .

Normans Bay is situated on the Sussex Coast between Bexhill and Eastbourne. The beach is composed of a mixture of sand and shingle which slopes gently down to the water. At low tide, an expanse of sand is exposed, although visitors need to be cautious of the possibility of sinking-sands and observe warning signs.

The beach is predominantly shingle, with shallow sand flats exposed at low water. At very low tide, a large expanse of sand is revealed. The beach is pebbles at the top, with shingle and sand at low tide.

The wide-open expanse of Normans Bay beach is popular with fishermen, ramblers, and windsurfers. The beach's location and sea breezes also make it a good place to fly a kite. On a clear day, it might be possible to see the white chalk cliffs of Beachy Head from the beach.

An area of the beach, towards Cooden beach, is sometimes frequented by naturists, although there are no sand dunes to afford privacy. Many visitors bring windshields for protection from the sea breezes as well as for privacy.

The nearby Pevensey Levels is an area of grassy marshland and contains many species of rare plants and invertebrates. However, public access is not permitted to this conservation area, and only visitors with permits for scientific studies are allowed.

There is a camping and caravan site adjacent to the beach, with a local railway track running behind it. However, there is no lifeguard present, so it is safest to stay on the shingled area.
