Fall Bay is one of the hardest bays to reach on the Gower Peninsula, making it a haven for those seeking a quiet and uncrowded beach experience. The beach can be accessed via a path from the car park at Rhossili village hall, which involves a steep descent down into the bay. Alternatively, on very low tides, the beach connects with neighbouring Mewslade Bay, allowing visitors to walk around.
The beach is significantly affected by the tides, with very little beach left at high tide. At very low tides, the beach connects with Mewslade Bay, providing an opportunity to explore the surrounding coastline.
While there are no facilities at the beach itself, visitors can find toilets, a shop, and several pubs and bed and breakfasts in Rhossili, near the car park. The car park operates an honesty box system, where drivers are expected to contribute to the maintenance of the facilities. The beach is popular with surfers seeking a remote spot, and the surrounding area offers many walking opportunities, taking in the stunning natural scenery of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
