Limeslade Bay is a small, tidal cove surrounded by cliffs, featuring a pebble and sandy beach. The bay is accessed by steps, and a café is situated above the bay, offering stunning views. On high tide, the beach is almost non-existent and pebbly, but on low tide, the sand is exposed, along with numerous rock pools. The cove is a popular spot for fishing, beachcombing, and exploring the surrounding cliffs.
Facilities at Limeslade Bay are quite good, with a small café overlooking the beach, and a car park close by at Bracelet Bay, which also features a restaurant, picnic area, and children's play area. A scenic cliff top coastal path connects Limeslade Bay to Langland Bay, offering great views of the Gower Peninsula and the Bristol Channel.
Please note that dog restrictions are in place at Limeslade Bay from May 1st to September 30th, during which time dogs are not permitted on the beach. However, outside of this period, dogs are allowed, making it a dog-friendly destination during the off-peak months.
Limeslade Bay is located close to other popular attractions, including Langland Bay, Rotherslade, and Caswell Bay, which can be accessed via the coastal path. Visitors can also enjoy a pleasant walk along the coast from Langland or explore the nearby Mumbles Pier in Swansea.
Limeslade Bay is adjacent to the Gower Coast Path and the Wales Coast Path.
