Porthcawl Newton Bay, also known as Black Rock Beach, is a scenic sandy bay with rocks located between Porthcawl and the large sand dune area of Merthyr Mawr in Wales. .

Newton Bay is situated just east of Porthcawl and stretches from Newton Point to the mouth of the River Ogmore. The bay is backed by the extensive and scientifically interesting Newton Burrows and Merthyr Mawr sand dunes. The beach is a mix of sand and rocks, making it a popular spot for various activities.

The bay is popular for walking, horse riding, windsurfing, and kitesurfing. While there are no facilities directly on the beach, the nearby Trecco Bay Holiday Park offers children's entertainment and amusements. The Newton Lifeguard Club and volunteer lifeguards are on patrol during the busy season. Visitors can also enjoy a walk through the dunes from Newton village.

The beach is dog friendly all year round. There are pay and display car parks on Beach Road and Bay View Road, as well as a free car park further down Beach Road. Although there are no facilities on the beach itself, the nearby village of Newton has more amenities and places to eat.

Porthcawl Newton Bay is on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, and adjacent to the Wales Coast Path.
