Martins Haven Beach is characterised by a steep shingle and pebble bank, situated in a sheltered, rocky cove. The beach is accessible via a road that leads down to the shore, forming a slipway. The location is close to the Skomer Marine Nature Reserve, which is a haven for nature lovers, with an abundance of bird and sea life to be seen.
The cliffs at Martins Haven are home to a variety of seabirds, including razorbills, kittiwakes, guillemots, and puffins. The waters surrounding the beach are home to dolphins, seals, and basking sharks during the summer months, making it a popular spot for diving and wildlife enthusiasts.
