Druidston Haven Beach is a 750 metre sandy beach that lies in front of high rocky cliffs facing west out into St Brides Bay. The beach is surrounded by steep sided pastoral land, with two small streams draining onto the bathing water. The area is of significant environmental importance, lying within the Pembrokeshire Marine Special Area of Conservation and the Newgale to Little Haven Site of Special Scientific Interest, as well as the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
The beach is backed and flanked by dramatic cliffs, overlooking a long strip of golden sand at low tide. The northern end of the beach features interesting rock formations, including naturally formed rock arches and small caves. However, visitors are advised to be cautious of the rising tides, which can quickly cut off access to these areas. The beach is popular with horse riders, with a nearby riding school offering horse riding activities along the shore. The Pembrokeshire coastal path runs along the beach, providing access to the seafront and nearby areas such as Nolton Haven and Broad Haven.
While the beach is suitable for families and offers plenty of opportunities for exploration, including rock pools, it is essential to note that there are no facilities or lifeguard services available. Swimming is not recommended due to strong and changeable currents. Visitors are advised to exercise caution when exploring the beach and to be mindful of the tide times.
